Governor's Distinguished Improvement Award
- Niwot Elementary has been given this award for the 2010-2011 school year from the Colorado Department of Education (CDE); CDE awards schools in Colorado that demonstrate outstanding student growth each year.
2011 John Irwin Award
- Niwot Elementary has also just been awarded the prestigious 2011 John Irwin Award for demonstrating outstanding student academic achievement on Colorado's 2010-2011 School Performance Framework! This is quite an award from the Colorado Dept. of Education, being in the top 8% of schools in the state!

Attention: All New Students and Parents of Students with Personal Exemption for Immunizations
As part of an ongoing process of updating all immunization records to be in compliance for Colorado State Law, we encourage you to bring your child up to date on their immunizations.
If you have previously signed a personal exemption and have since updated your child's immunizations, please provide a copy to the health office before school ends or when school resumes in August. This information will be entered in Infinite Campus.
Please contact the health clerk at school if you need to review your child's immunization records.
